Hmmmm
I guess this week has been quite enjoyable for me, since I am finally released from school's chains!! Haha I have been shopping!! It's like my favourite pastime! But I can't believe that I have ignored it for soooo long! Like more than half a year?!
But it's back to practising the art of shopping again!! WHEEEEE
So, I bought a really nice tote bag from justjeans, a really retro top and a pair of black skinny jeans (which looked rather emo-ish? No offence though!) well...maybe I should take a picture of those stuff haha
But I guess, shopping isn't the highlight for this week.
NEVER underestimate the power of prayer.
I think that was what I actually learnt this week. That prayers should never be underestimated.
Monday:
Alys txted me early in the morning telling me she didn't have anything to wear to My Chemical Romance concert and that she was really broke. I was quite concerned for her because she seem rather in a panic.
So I thought I should pray for her. When she came over to my house a few hours later, she told me her mum gave her 120 bucks! WOW! We went for a shopping spree that day!!
Wednesday:
My birthday! Well I thanked God for keeping me alive for 17 years. Anyway I had a party that night, and before that it started raining ): And that party is like a bbq at the beach, so if it rains everything will be ruined. I prayed, and an hour before the party, it stopped raining! (: Oh oh, but the amazing thing was when we were all safely into the hall after the bbq, it actually started raining again! But by then, it was quite alright.
Well, unfortunately the party got a little wild and the cops came. I got a little scared and wanted to go home. But it was like 1am in the morning and the only way I could go home was by a taxi. Which would cost 20 bucks. And I was a little paranoid about taking a taxi home on my own at 1am in the morning. I started praying again and decided to just booked the taxi anyway. But a minute after we booked the taxi, my mum txted me asking me if I ready to go home. I was like soooo happy! She was still awake!! Haha so we cancelled the taxi (although the lady was like super annoyed at us) and I managed to get safely home.
Thursday:
On Wednesday, I kind of prayed that this someone would stop giving me the cold shoulder and talk to me again. And surprisingly, after almost half of year of not talking, that someone talked to me again on thursday hahaha
Friday:
This morning, I prayed that God would help me with my interview at Crean, so that I can get the job. The interview went quite well, and I wasn't nervous at all. haha I know I shouldn't be that fussy about jobs, but I thought that the lady who interviewed me was kind of rude and I didn't like her that much. When her subordinate told her that I had arrived, not only did she not acknowledge me, but she made me wait for soooo long as she typed stuff, without asking me to have a seat first.
I thought that was a tad rude. Another downside about this job is that it's in the middle of nowhere, which means there is no public transport and quite secluded and quiet. Anyway I thought I should not think too much and wait till next week to know if I actually got the job.
But guess what! After lunch today, this lady from PowerCo (my dad's office) called me asking me if I wanted a data entry job for 6 weeks. Well, when I first applied for this job my parents and I didn't actually think they will call me because PowerCo is a really big and established company and they can find older and better people. But NO! They actually called me!!! Wheeee haha
Well, that lady asked me about my data entry skills and if I could type fast. I told her that my typing skills are mostly trained by using online chats hahaha She laughed. Then I decided I should be more serious, so I told her that I did computer skills in school last year.
Her next question was, "So, can you start at 9am on Monday?" I was like "YES!!" hahaha So I got the job without even an interview or a CV. WOW!! I got more than I prayed for hahaha

Amazing eh? I find it hard to believe that everything is just pure coincidence haha Anyway, I just thought I should share this. I'm still amazed at how great my God is.
(:
